FAQs
Where is the festival?
At the beautiful Radford Mill Farm … see address info and maps above – roughly 30 minutes (13 miles) drive from Bristol, or 20 minutes (7.5 miles) from central Bath. You can read more about the farm at their website.

Click the image or here to download our site map.
How do I get in?
Once you’ve wisely invested in a day ticket, we just have a single entrance for the festival this year – it will be clearly signed – you can find it here on Google Maps & streetview; the what3words location is gamer.rotations.musical
Continue down the farm driveway for approximately 50 meters, past the apple & pear trees and over the bridge across the Cam Brook, where our lovely volunteers will direct you to parking, camping & onwards to the festival site.
Please have your booking names and ticket confirmation ready to give them when you arrive. We’ll give you a delightful recyclable wristband in exchange. Note – there is no phone signal on site, so please have your directions and ticket info prepared in advance.
If/when you need to leave the site, please exit the same way – just let the team on the gate know if you plan to return later so they can make a note.
Any public transport?
The farm is a little off the beaten track, which is definitely part of its secluded appeal! This does make it slightly tricky to reach directly without a car, however there are some bus routes available. Check the relevant day timetables here.
– From Bristol, you can catch the 374 / 375 / 376 / 173 buses from Bristol Bus & Coach Station to Temple Clouds Village, then pre-order a Taxi to cover the 10 minute drive to the farm.
– From Bath, you can catch the 172 bus from Bath Bus Station to Paulton, then pre-order a Taxi to cover the 5 minute drive to the farm.
We do not advise getting the 522 bus from Bristol or Bath to Timsbury (as there is no safe pedestrian access on this walking route!) unless you book a taxi from Timsbury. Please pre-order a taxi to ensure you get to the site safely, and also book your return journey beforehand (given poor mobile signal on site).
Local Taxi Services:
– ASAP Taxi Service :+44 7961 002199 … Quoted approx ยฃ20
– Rezaโs Taxi Service : +44 7938 040928 … Quoted approx ยฃ15
For 2026, we hope to set up a lift-share scheme.
I’d love to get involved, volunteer, perform or offer something on site?
We love having as many people from the local community involved as possible. We are a festival from the community, for the community! So please get in touch with us – hello [at] wildlingsfestival.com
Where can I find a shop?
There are a few local shops, a pub and a chip shop in Timsbury, around a mile away – more info here.
There’s a Tesco superstore about 2.5 miles away, on the edge of Midsomer Norton, with fuel and long opening hours. More info here.
Food and drink?
The farm team will be offering delicious homemade meals, food and snacks available to buy throughout the day – as far as possible, they use produce grown on the farm, and provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. All meals are accompanied by a range of salads, for example leaves and flowers, carrot and beetroot, coleslaw, tomato and cucumber etc. A plain alternative will also be available for children.
The farm team also provides a fully licensed bar serving local beers & ciders, plus a selection of soft drinks & juices. Being a family focused festival, please drink responsibly and be extra considerate to other families on site, especially after bed time. All alcohol is strictly for over 18s. Please bring photo ID with you if you are under the age of 25 or lucky enough to look particularly youthful!
Can I bring my own food, drink, alcohol, ?
Yes! We recommend you bring whatever you need with you as there are no other shops, stalls or supplies on site for our first year. However, please help us and take your rubbish home with you, as the farm cannot process additional waste.
Camping and fires
If you have bought a day ticket and you would like to add camping, you can buy a camping ticket here and join us for Friday night, or Saturday night or both! There is plenty of space in the farm’s camping fields. There are also rooms available to buy in the farmhouse, along with two shepherd’s huts.
Camper vans are welcome for the weekend and cost the same price as a tent. Please note, there is no electric hook up available.
For safety, fires are not allowed this year, but we do have a safely-managed festival bonfire for you to enjoy into the evening.
Although we will try to keep the noise down after dark, bear in mind the further you camp from the main stage field, the quieter it will be.
What should I bring?
A few suggestions:
– Directions & ticket confirmation – there is very little mobile signal nearby or on site
– Sun protection, hats & sunscreen
– Waterproofs
– Refillable water bottles
– Cash! Mobile signal at the farm is very limited – although the food area can take card payment, we advise bringing some cash with you to pay for any extra activities.
– Food & snacks – there will be meals and snacks available to buy from the farm, but you may also wish to have something on had that you know your children will eat! We recommend bringing your own food for babies.
– Camping chairs and blankets (the farm also have a few chairs available)
– Ear guards for children – we will manage the music volume at a sensible level, but younger ears are sensitive and might need additional protection.
– Field-friendly pushchair
– Medications – anything for allergies, inhalers, insect repellent etc.
– A small torch – might be handy, especially if you’re camping.
– Toys – there will be lots for the children to do throughout the day, but often useful to have something else on hand for fidgety fingers!
– Fancy dress … why not, let’s go wild-lings!
Mobile signal – Can I stream Netflix or Facetime Great Aunt Margo?
Mercifully, the site has very little (if any) mobile signal, depending on your network, and no public wifi, so please come prepared to be out of signal! A walk off-site and up the hill will probably find you some bars of signal if you really need to get the football results come 5pm, and of course in an emergency just find one of our team/volunteers in green high-vis jackets.
I lost my child!
They probably won’t have gone too far – the site is pretty well contained. We’ll have a gathering point in the middle of the site next to the main stage/marquee in case anyone is lost. However, please make sure you keep an eye on them – we don’t have enough eyes to babysit for everyone, so yes, they are your responsibility at all times! There will be a number of first aiders on site should anyone need.
Water and the Cam Brook
The beautiful cam brook runs through the farm site. There is a natural barrier of grasses, nettles and greenery, but please take care to warn children of the dangers of water even so. On Saturday, we’ll have a set window where you can explore the water and paddle with your children. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and there may be a little queue as we keep an eye numbers for safety. Please make sure not to spend too long so that others may enjoy the river after you.
Site safety and looking after your children
We do everything we can to make Wildlings Festival safe and inclusive for everyone, but our beautiful countryside setting does come with a few natural risks and accessibility challenges. The site is a working farm during the year and includes fields, woodland and direct access to the Cam Brook.
Weโve carried out a full risk assessment and put sensible measures in place. That said, families are expected to take reasonable care for their own safety and wellbeing. Parents, guardians and carers remain responsible for their children at all times, and for making any arrangements needed before attending.
Whilst the festival and the farm have a duty of care to make sure the event is safe for the families that attend (in terms of the site, its facilities and the creative content presented), please note that we canโt provide direct childcare, nor anticipate any medical conditions.
You are expected to take reasonable care and precautions for you and your family, your safety and well-being. This responsibility sits with the parent, legal guardian or carer on site and the arrangements they have made in advance of attending. If you or your children have health needs, take medication, or need additional support, please bring whatever youโll need with you. We also ask everyone to be mindful so that the safety and enjoyment of others is never affected.
The farm have trained first aiders on site during the festival on Saturday who can provide basic care if needed. If you need help, please speak to anyone in a green high-vis jacket or at the food/bar point.
Loos, showers and water points?
Toilets: The farm is very environmentally focused and has plenty of eco compost loos spread around the site. The sawdust next to each toilet is for you to add after each visit. There will be a few child seats & changing mats available to borrow, but if possible we recommend bringing your own, especially if you are camping.
Showers: There are a couple of eco-showers available to use for campers, however please be mindful that for this year’s launch gathering they will be cold!
Water Points: There are numerous water points on site with safe drinking water.
What time is everything?
Gates open from 10:00 on Saturday, with last entry for ticket holders at 1800.
On Friday evening, gates for campers will be open from 1500-2100.
We’ll kick off with music on Saturday from 1100, continuing through until 22:30.
On Sunday, weโll be closing the site to Saturday campers at 1200 (although youโre welcome to stay to volunteer with the pack-down!)
Disabled access & loos?
Please contact us in advance if you have any access requirements. The farm facilities are limited but we will do our best to help and advise you, and provide an accessible drop-off point.
Photos and videos
We will be taking videos and photos throughout the festival to use for potential future funding and promotion. If you prefer to be excluded from any photos/videos, please request a red wristband from our volunteers at the entrance and keep it on and visible throughout your visit. This will let our photographer and videographer know not to use you/your children’s images in content – we will do our very best to make sure their faces are blurred out in any footage/photographs where red wristbands are visible. Of course you may want to capture photos and videos of your own experience at the festival, however please make sure to avoid capturing close-up photos of any other children without their parent’s permission. If you do take any great photos or videos and are happy for us to share them, please send them our way! We would love to see the festival through your eyes.
Feedback & Comments
All feedback is incredibly helpful – we are very keen to hear about your experience, what worked well, and what might need improving for next year. We will have some feedback forms on site for you to leave any thoughts, and will be sending out a short email questionnaire after the festival to complete online.
